Kith is back on their Marvel hype this week. Ronnie Fieg and his team have linked up with Asics once more, this time to bring the world of Marvel vs. Capcom to sneakers. Several characters from the game will get their own shoes, which release this week.

Ronnie Fieg’s love of classic entertainment strikes again this week, with another collection of sneakers devoted to iconic characters. This time around, Kith is once again working with Asics and Marvel, celebrating the beloved Marvel vs. Capcom fighting games. Kith worked with Capcom to release both a handheld gaming device with the retailer’s branding, as well as a full-size arcade machine. The machine comes loaded with every Marvel x Capcom title, while the handheld houses an array of other classic Capcom titles. Today, Fieg has unveiled the wearable side of the multi-brand collaboration, a series of collector’s footwear from Asics.

As of this morning, the Asics portion of the Marvel vs. Capcom collection is still largely under wraps. Fieg shared the above teaser photo of several pairs of sneakers, as well as official images of the special packaging. So far, the shoes included are the GEL-Kayano 12.1 as well as the GK-14, and the GT-2160. The packaging shows four characters from the games, Iron Man, Captain America, Mega Man, and Guile. Wolverine and Ryu also make appearance both on the packaging and featured in the stop-motion animation Kith made for this release. The sneaker collection appears to house multiple pairs, which are possibly split between right and left shoes, reflecting the team dynamic of the OG Marvel vs. Capcom games.

KITH X ASICS MARVEL VS. CAPCOM COLLECTION RELEASE INFORMATION

The latest project from Kith and Asics revives their partnership with Marvel, and will release this week on November 14th, 2025. The new series incorporates characters from the beloved Marvel vs. Capcom lineup, and brings their color schemes to the GEL-Kayano 12.1, 14, and GT-2160. The project will release exclusively through Kith, and comes with some incredible special packaging, pictured below.
