J. Balvin has reached a level of superstardom in Latin music that arguably only one other man has a claim to. Mirroring that twin flame status, he’s also carved out a role as a key collaborator in footwear, only his product comes with a Jumpman printed on it rather than three parallel strikes. Following his Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2, and Air Jordan 3 efforts, the Colombian multi-hyphenate is continuing his sequential spree through the Retro line-up with the J Balvin x Air Jordan 4 “Lemonade.”

Since as early as December of 2025, we’ve known that the AJ4 would be Balvin’s next canvas, but exactly which colorway would go public has been a matter of debate. Early info sources have vacillated between the all-yellow “Lemonade” shown here and an alternate multi-color version, the latter first worn by the man himself on stage before DJ Khaled revealed he had a pair in his collection. As we careen towards an expected September launch, it appears this comprehensively sunny edition will be the one hitting shelves, now revealed in clear detail.

The singer had already shown off a rear angle of this shoe during his World Cup Opening Ceremony performance, flexing his happy face logo emblazoned onto the heel. These new in-hand angles confirm a flooded arrangement throughout the whole shoe, as well as croc-like textures pacing much of the surface area here, glossy finishes under the collar, and a “SOLO HAZLO” dubrae (translating to “JUST DO IT”). Though the Medellin native hasn’t shared firm narrative inspirations just yet, assuredly this comes from the same Colombian touchstones and sentimental homebase as any J Balvin shoes we’ve seen to date.
