The Converse SHAI 001 “Charm Black” will be released on October 2, 2025. This pair is inspired by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s mom, Charmaine. The retail price is $130.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have a busy month in October regarding sneaker releases. In total, three pairs will arrive at retailers of his first signature shoe, the Converse SHAI 001. As we continue to monitor the upcoming drops, one of the pairs that will be available is known as “Charm Black.” This pair is inspired by Shai’s mom, Charmaine.

One of the cleaner pairs of the Converse SHAI 001, it features a monochromatic all-Black takeover. The pair also follows the recipe of the other pairs and has a no-sew upper. Additionally, the pair features neoprene and TPU panels, with padding located on the ankle and a shroud overlay. The zipper enclosure covers the laces, and we have Shai’s logo on the tongue and insoles. Black glossy areas appear on the heel with the Converse chevron logo. Other details include an Air Zoom unit in the forefoot and a Black rubber sole.
