Converse SHAI 001 “Hail Clay” Releases October 2025

The Converse SHAI 001 “Hail Clay” will be released on October 2, 2025. This pair is inspired by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s wife’s eyes. The retail price is $130.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just launched his first signature shoe, the SHAI 001, in the “Butter” colorway, and you can expect plenty of color options to follow. For October, we have several pairs dropping, including the “Hail Clay” iteration. Each pair tells a story, and the “Hail Clay” is inspired by his wife Hailey’s eyes.

Like the other Converse SHAI 001 releases, this pair features a monochromatic look. Covered throughout in Clay, which also appears on the shroud upper, tongue, and base. As for the look, it features a padded ankle that also expands onto the shroud. Additionally, the pair is equipped with a Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot. Shai’s logo appears on the tongue and insoles, while the Converse chevron logo graces the heel. The look is completed with a Clay midsole and matching rubber outsole.
