Metalheads, this one’s for you. Brooklyn Projects, adidas Skateboarding, and iconic heavy metal band Anthrax are dropping a series of collaborations in 2026, starting with a Superstar ADV made to mosh in more ways than one.

While not a full unveiling, Brooklyn Projects’ announcement tells us everything we need to know design-wise. The sneaker comes in all-black (no surprise there) with pre-distressed leather on the stripes and backtab. Yellow laces and “BP” branding align well with Anthrax’s most recognizable logo, while a full Cordura base renders the shoe “indestructible.” We probably wouldn’t advise taking that too literally, though.

In celebration of the partnership, Brooklyn Projects is giving away fifty pairs from its 7427 Melrose Ave location. Interested parties can swing by starting tomorrow to pick up a free raffle ticket. The raffle ends Friday, May 15th, after which winners will be notified to come pick up their pair in-store. A wider traditional release is expected later on.

It’s not clear what the other two Brooklyn Projects x adidas Skateboarding x Anthrax models will be as of this writing, but our Sneaker Release Dates page will be kept current with all available info. For now, see early pics of the Superstar ADV below.
