The Air Jordan 5 “Tokyo” will return on September 27, 2025. Also known as the T23, this pair was originally released in 2011 and celebrated Japan’s Jordan Tokyo 23 store opening. The retail price is $210.

As most know, Jordan Brand is celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Air Jordan 5. In typical JB fashion, we will see new, older retros, and original colorways return in 2025. For fans of limited pairs, we will see the “Tokyo” Air Jordan 5 return to retailers. Initially released in 2011, the pair was launched to celebrate the Jordan Tokyo 23 store opening in Japan.

This Air Jordan 5 features a Yellow and Multi-Color color combination. However, there is much more to the pair. Highlighted with Yellow suede across the upper, giving the pair a premium feel. By the heel, we have Kanji-inspired text that represents the number 23. In addition, Wolf Grey graces the tongue, eyelets, and liner. Mesh netting lands on the panels, while Black wraps the toe cap, part of the midsole, Jumpman branding, and laces. Other details include White accents and a translucent rubber outsole.

Furthermore, there are rumors of two versions being released. One iteration will have the Jumpman, while the other will sport Nike Air branding. The initial launch came with the Jumpman. This is similar to the 2025 Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 launch.
