Recently, we received an internal memo stating that Jordan Brand would start launching models above the Air Jordan 14 to models, and the plan is set to begin in 2026. Calling them “once forgotten retros,” the Air Jordan 17 Low will continue its journey. Reintroduced to the world in 2024 by way of original colorways, we are now seeing collaborations and new colorways of the silhouette. We have received exclusive details that the brand will debut the “Black Patent” Air Jordan 17 Low in Fall 2026.
Jordan Brand will bring back the original “Black Chrome” Air Jordan 17 Low with a twist. Instead of using the signature smooth Black leather upper, the pair will feature Black Patent leather, hence the nickname. Although the image used is a mock-up, we were told that the image shown will resemble the upcoming release. Aside from patent leather, we may see Chrome detailing and crocodile texture on the eyestays. While fans of the model will be happy to see another pair dropping, some may want to see the OG pair.
