adidas and Patrick Mahomes Show Off the Mahomes 2 Impact FLX
adidas and Patrick Mahomes teamed up back in 2021 for their inaugural collaboration, a training shoe called the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX. Right in time for the Super Bowl LVIII, the brand and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback have returned with their second iteration of the sneaker.The Mahomes 2 Impact FLX largely replicates the original silhouette of the 2021 shoe with some modifications that designers say were informed by the Mahomes 1 Impact FLX’s data. It also has a generative traction outsole and a foam midsole, providing a firmer group while exercising with a layer of cushioning. Designers also tweaked the mesh upper, which comes in a light gray shade.Bronze and gold detailing throughout the Mahomes 2 Impact FLX were inspired by the NFL player’s love for watches.
