Nike Air Max 95 “Wolverine” aka “Royal Blue” — Quick Facts

We’re not ones to pass up making a color connection, especially when we’re dealing with one of Nike’s hottest retro models. Sergio Lozano’s Nike Air Max 95 continues its torrid big bubble run with a wonderfully clean colorway we can’t help but liken to Wolverine, set for a Summer 2026 release.

All-black hits on the midsole, toe cap, bottom overlay, and spine set the tone, the latter taken in a ballistic mesh material as opposed to the model’s usual silver finish. Royal Blue hits on the second-lowest overlay, Swoosh, Air bubbles, and heel stitching add character, while subtle yellow accents on the tongue and Swoosh border enable the unofficial “Wolverine” nickname. An extra splice of Reflective Silver frames the top overlay, while the rest of the upper elements balance out in black and white.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Wolverine” aka “Royal Blue” was present in JD Sports’ Spring/Summer 2026 preview, but the arrival of official Nike images gives us reason to believe these aren’t a retailer exclusive.
