Milwaukee-based sneaker boutique Clicks is back with another adidas collaboration this week. The store has taken on the Adistar Control 5 retro for this release, dousing the shoe in an all-red “Cranberry” themed colorway.

The biggest trend in sneakers over the last few years has been retro running shoes, repurposed for lifestyle wear. Nike, New Balance, and adidas have all jumped on this train, reissuing some iconic and lesser-known silhouettes for a new age. The over-designed, often synthetic look gives a vintage vibe to these sneakers, and the Adistar Control 5 is a prime example of this new category of style. The silhouette features a mesh upper with synthetic overlays and many components making up the shoe, including a highly detailed midsole.

This week, the Control 5 is getting another collaborative drop, the shoe’s second since a team-up with Sporty & Rich earlier this year. This time, Milwaukee, Wisconsin’s Clicks is taking the reins. Founded by Eric “Shake” James, Clicks is a focal point of sneaker culture in the 414, frequently celebrating their local community with special releases and projects, often in collaboration with adidas. The latest venture brings a “Cranberry” theme to the retro sneaker, paying homage to Wisconsin’s massive cranberry industry. The look comes in a bright red shade for the shoe’s mesh layers and midsole, adding darker, blood red tones to the rest of the shoe.

The latest collaboration from Milwaukee retailer Clicks Kicks and adidas has been scheduled to drop this week, on Saturday, November 15th, 2025. This release is only the second team-up effort featuring the Adistar Control 5 retro, and comes in an all-red “Cranberry” palette. Pairs will be available exclusively through the Clicks website and storefronts, with a price tag of $130.
