Third A-COLD-WALL* x Converse Chuck 70 Ox Revealed

Converse has had a solid month of collaborations, with partners including names like Meanswhile, Margaret Howell, Tyler, the Creator, ADER error and more.Tying off the month is a continuance of collaborative efforts with London-based streetwear brand A-COLD-Wall*, led by designer Samuel Ross. The latest offering, like the previous, comes in the form of a Chuck 70 Ox, this time in a dark almost mocha-colored upper with minor hits of "Sail" for contrast. The shoe makes a third collaborative Ox, with previous pairs also being released in a uniform style nature, coming in solid "Green" and "Oceana" blue. While the latest pair is thought to be a continuation of the two, it does deploy different design elements, most notably a rubberized ACW panel instead of a fabric tag at the heel.Other noticeable differences include the exclusion of branding at the tongue and on the semi-translucent toe caps. While the pair certainly is in line with the uniform style of past releases and would undoubtedly fit right in, the difference in design elements makes this pair a unique one to add to the rotation. At the time of writing, the pair is slated to release on UK retailer BSTN's official site on Tuesday, August 1, for a price of $115 USD.In related news, take a look at A-COLD-WALL*'s Mies loafer prototypes.
