The new year has always stood as a signal for progress and movement, and Nike’s ready to mark this pivotal juncture with its 2026 Year Of The Horse collection. Often featuring a mix of their statement products such as the Dunk and Air Force 1 as well as their modern silhouettes in the running and basketball category, the annual “Year Of The…” series focuses on the seventh sign of the Chinese zodiac.
Today, official images of the Nike Dunk Low “Year Of The Horse” has surfaced, offering a peek into the design concept for the entire collection as a whole. Starting off is an ornately elegant embroidery on the heel that displays a flying horse alongside a decorative inlay often seen in its prized silk fabrics. Above the white/brown base color are succinct hits of color appearing on the tongue label and the tail of the Swoosh logo; with 2026 being the Fire Horse year, we’ll see hits of red on the insole logo as well.
Finally, Nike adds a metal charm as the lace dubrae, featuring its inspirational logo beneath the animal.
While firm release date info has yet to be shared, Nike typically drops its Year Of The… collection in January. Whether or not these will be available outside of the Greater China region also remains to be seen.
