Ja Morant has one of the best signature sneaker lines currently churning out new styles. This Fall, Nike will add another excellent entry in their run of halloween-themed styles for the Ja 4, coming soon.

Nike is on a roll with their recent newly minted performance basketball shoes. While the retro team is hard at work digging up classics like the Air Bakin, the modern team has given us some hits like the GT Future, KD19, and most recently, the Ja 4. Morant’s fourth signature model comes off of an excellent year for the 3, which got a few Sneaker of the Year nods thanks to its unique new upper and fun collaborations. Now, the 4 is lining up a special halloween release for the Fall, continuing the yearly tradition of over-the-top specialty styles for Ja’s shoes. This year’s edition has not been formally announced yet, so the theme for the new pair is not quite as clear as last year’s “Zombie” edition was. The look comes in an Oil Green color scheme, with a range of different meshes and textures displayed across the upper. The haphazard and clawed nature of the construction seems to point to a mummy theme, though we can’t say for sure quite yet. Crimson red accents make up the JA branding on the sides, while the molded fang lace jewel returns from last year’s release.

NIKE JA 4 “HALLOWEEN” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next installment in Ja Morant’s excellent line of Halloween-themed signature sneaker is coming soon in October, though no date has been announced yet. The theme for the Ja 4 is a little tougher to parse than previous entries, blending unique textures and patterns across the upper with a ripped and torn look. Crimson red accents make up the Swooshes and midfoot shanks, while the rest of the shoe comes in a muted Oil Green shade. Pairs will be available from Nike and select retailers for $145.
