New Balance’s 2016 990v4 is back this year, rejoining the brand’s Made in USA program for both a range of new colorways, and the return of some original releases like this simple ‘Black’ look, coming soon.
The New Balance 990v4 was a hit when it first arrived back in 2016, marking the fourth entry of the famous silhouette since its introduction in 1982. Still released as a performance running shoe, the model took on its own life as a lifestyle model, and helped popularize the brand’s 990 family, bringing us to their peak popularity today. Now, the Boston brand has revived their Made in USA pairs of the v4, re-releasing some of the original tonal colorways like the navy blue look, and now, a simple black pair. True to its original release, this look covers the shoe in black from toes to heels, adding simple flashes of silver metallic pieces to the various branding.
NEW BALANCE 990V4 MADE IN USA ‘BLACK’ RELEASE INFORMATION
New Balance’s next colorway of the Made in USA 990v4 has not been announced for release, though they are expected to launch sometime in late 2023. Seen here in an all-black suede color scheme, pairs will likely be available via the brand’s website as well as select retailers for $210.
