Nike is taking one of its biggest swings in recent memory with the First Sight collection, a trio of women’s lifestyle models that channel the energy and forward-thinking attitude of some of the Swoosh’s most influential eras. The First Sight Noir is already off and running, while its companions, the Mirage and Shadow, are on deck for later this year, with the latter now emerging in never-before-seen angles.

The First Sight Shadow taps into the Alpha Project era with a retro, almost Flightposite-like build, featuring a molded shell exterior accented by multiple series of embossed and debossed blobs. Newly surfaced images of this black colorway offer our best look yet at the outsole. Up front, a debossed crosshair splits the forefoot into four distinct zones, each filled with blob-like traction. The heel is divided into two sections by a Swoosh that tails onto the upper, while abstract, wavy traction fills in the rest of the design
