The Nike Air Max 95 moment moves along undeterred. Now more than a year into the revitalized “Big Bubble” era, the 110 may not be the absolute headliner in the catalog any longer, but the bona fides the silhouette brings to the table are still the ones that made fans widely regard it as one of the Swoosh’s best designs in their storied history.
As we reach the midpoint of Fall from a consumer calendar perspective, Nike is beginning to preview some of their options for the closing stretch. The Nike Air Max 95 pictured here fits perfectly into colder month wardrobes, toned down in overall tonality but still keeping eminent wearability at its heart. Obviously the same distressed edges don’t apply, butw e’re getting hints of the CDG collab from 20202 for this reliance on greyscale tones, and especially the inclusion of off-white in the process. However, even without those “close enough” ties, this does well to issue a sensible spin on classic sporty hues.
This Nike Air Max 95 should be coming to Nike.com and partnering retailers in short order, as the studio shots below indicate at least an overseas release soon. The standard $190 sticker price is likely.
