Click into the comment section on any moc, slide, or otherwise futuristic piece of footwear, and you’re guaranteed to see two names, usually in subsequent order: Ye and Steven Smith. It’s a dynamic that’s been undeniable in the wake of adidas Yeezy’s molded reign; the shockwaves of the sub-label reverberating throughout the industry, and the real heads lining up to remind folks of Smith’s influence in that trend.
Now signing up with the Colorado company to expand his already legendary oeuvre, the Ripple has become a clubhouse leader for his best and most well-received work in his new home. The Crocs Ripple in this grey/green colorway is already queued up for a May 1st release in Japan. Stay tuned for stateside release info as it comes to light. For now, you’ll find on-white images of this variation below.
