The Dynasty Collection — or the complete set of six individual Air Jordan sneakers worn by Michael Jordan in his NBA Finals championship games — sold for $8 million USD to an unnamed buyer at Sotheby's in New York on Friday morning. A truly unparalleled moment and milestone in auction history, the sale of these six championship-clinching sneakers will likely never be replicated.”The final price ranks as the second-highest for Jordan's sports memorabilia, falling behind the basketball legend's 1998 NBA Finals Game 1 jersey from the Last Dance season, which sold for $10.1 million USD at Sotheby's. Notably, that jersey still holds the title for the highest-priced game-worn sports memorabilia sold at auction.The Dynasty Collection comprises all of Jordan's NBA Finals wins, beginning with his first victory with Chicago Bulls in 1991 through his final season with the team in 1998.
