Jordan Brand is rolling out another iconic style from their archive this year, the “White Infrared” Air Jordan 6. Arriving late in Fall 2026, this marks only the fourth release of this beloved colorway, and will return to the shoe’s original form from 1991.

The Air Jordan 6 plays a huge part in the history of Michael Jordan’s signature sneaker line. Released in 1991, the model was Mike’s silhouette of choice for the season, and was worn during his first NBA Championship win over the Lakers. During that playoff run, Jordan frequently wore the “White Infrared” colorway of the high-top sneaker, a simple white leather build with striking Infrared accents, and a direct counterpart to the standard “Infrared” 6 colorway in black. After that season, this special pair did not get a retro release from Jordan Brand until 2010, likely to safeguard the sanctity of such an iconic model in Michael’s career. After that, the shoe released for a third time in 2014, but has not been issued in the twelve years since. This week, news of a new “White Infrared” style has leaked, with pairs reportedly lined up for a release in November 2026.

AIR JORDAN 6 “WHITE INFRARED” RELEASE INFORMATION

The upcoming retro release of the “White Infrared” Air Jordan 6 is currently expected to release on November 7th, 2026, though this date has not been made official yet. Originally released in 1991, this year’s retro will be the first appearance of the iconic colorway since 2014, and will feature the original Nike Air branding. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for an expected $215.
