Jordan Brand is pulling out another exciting retro for a re-release in the future. This week, leaks say that the Jumpman will drop a retro of the iconic 2007 “Do the Right Thing” Air Jordan 3.

Spike Lee has been entwined with Jordan Brand history since the late 1980s, when he starred alongside Mike in the Mars Blackmon commercials. Lee appeared as the titular Mars, hyping up MJ’s sneakers with the famous tagline “it’s gotta be the shoes!”. Lee also prominently featured Jordans in his movies, particularly in Do the Right Thing, the filmmaker’s 1989 release. In 2007, Nike paid tribute to the film with a special release of the Air Jordan 3, which took its color scheme from the movie’s poster. The release marked the first time nubuck had been used for the upper of the AJ3, which was cast in an eye-catching Brisk Blue shade, and paired with gold and green accents to complete the look. Now, Jordan Brand is reportedly eyeing a re-release of the beloved pair for Spring 2027.

The news of Jordan Brand retro-ing the “Do the Right Thing” Air Jordan 3 is just a leak for now, and the drop is not expected until sometime in Spring 2027. The iconic 2007 pair features a bold blue upper with matching elephant print, yellow accents, and green Jumpman branding, and will likely be available from both Nike and select retailers.
