The Supreme x Nike Air Max 2001 Air Ecstasy is expected to release on August 27, 2026. The collaboration will bring back one of Nike’s lesser-known Air Max models for the first time since its original release. It will also mark Supreme’s latest trip into Nike’s archives, this time focusing on a silhouette from the Alpha Project era. The retail price is $190.

The Air Max 2000 originally launched in 2000 and was part of Nike’s Alpha Project. The program was known for pushing footwear design in a different direction, with experimental shapes and the signature five-dot branding. Unlike some of the more popular Alpha Project models, the Air Max 2000 never became a major hit and was eventually forgotten.

Now, Supreme is giving the model another opportunity. The New York-based brand has a history of working with Nike on both well-known and obscure silhouettes.

Supreme changes up the look of the Nike Air Max 2000 by replacing the usual side lines with Supreme branding. Red covers most of the upper, while White outlines the various panels. Underneath, the midsole comes in Yellow, with Silver surrounding the Air cushioning. Black then appears on the laces and rubber outsole, completing the look.
