Nike and Supreme are cooking up another archival retro for later this year. According to new leaks today, Supreme’s next forgotten Nike model is the Air Max 2000, a turn-of-the-century running shoe build for looks and speed, but hasn’t been seen since the early 2000s.

The Nike Air Max 2000 is a lesser-known but distinctive entry in the Air Max lineage, originally released in 1999 as part of Nike’s late-’90s push toward more futuristic, performance-driven running designs. The silhouette was released as a part of the brand’s Alpha Project, an innovative series of sneakers aimed at imagining the future of performance footwear. Alpha Project was our introduction to some iconic silhouettes like the Air Presto, Kukini, Air Max Craze, and Shox BB4. Among the was the Air Max 2000, an evolution of their popular running line that leaned into aerodynamics, lightweight construction, and technical detailing. The AM2000 was shelved shortly after its debut, and has not reappeared on shelves for over twenty years now. However, a new leak this week suggests that Nike is preparing for the model’s first-ever retro release, working with Supreme to help relaunch the archival silhouette. Not much is known about the collaboration right now, but we will be sure to update with product information and photos when they finally surface.

SUPREME X NIKE AIR MAX 2000 RELEASE INFORMATION

There is currently no official information regarding a return of the Nike Air Max 2000, by way of a Supreme collaboration. However, leaks from @bubblekoppe say the silhouette will appear as a part of Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2026 collection. There is no word on what colorways will be available nor how many there will be; even the retro’s price tag is still under wraps.
