Stranger Things just wrapped up its fifth and final season, dropping a Nike collection to go along with the final batch of episodes. Now, it appears they’ve held one special pair back, a “Vecna” inspired look for the Air Foamposite One, coming in February.

Stranger Things first teamed up with Nike during the show’s third season, releasing a capsule collection of sneakers and clothing themed after the Hawkins High School Phys. Ed. program. The project was a hit among fans, and featured unique details like wear away uppers to reveal a hidden “upside down” layer underneath on some shoes. This year, the two partners reprised the collaboration, teaming up for a series of sneakers for several of the main characters, once again accompanied by apparel options. Now, with the final season over, a surprise addition to the project has emerged. And no, it is not the “secret” real finale many fans theorized, its a pair of the Nike Air Foamposite One. This special-edition release features a striking red and black colorway across the molded upper, adding a lightning pattern across the silhouette for a frightening look. Details include Vecna’s face printed on the soles, chrome red mini Swooshes at the toes, and upside down branding on the heels.

STRANGER THINGS X NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE RELEASE INFORMATION

The surprise addition to the Stranger Things x Nike collection has not been officially announced yet, but is rumored to release on Friday, February 13th, 2026. The final release features the Air Foamposite One, dressed in a red and black lightning-patterned colorway with the villain Vecna printed on the insoles. Pairs will likely be available from Nike and select retailers for $250.
