New Balance has been cooking with their 991v2 model since its introduction a couple years back. The model is a staple of their Made in UK program, which produces excellent collaborations and in-line colors, like this new “Toadstool” style, coming soon.

New Balance has been on a roll with their 991v2 this year, the updated version of the 2001 running shoe. The model has been a hot canvas for their collaborative efforts since its introduction late in 2023, and has filled out their in-line Made in England catalog with several new colors each season. The lineup of new colors for the Spring ’26 season continues to grow, adding fresh takes on the model every few weeks. Today, we have an early look at a “Toadstool” edition set for release soon. The new color scheme brings our first bright look for warmer Spring months, mixing two shades of purple across the main layers, a darker, more saturated shade for the mesh underlay and a lighter tone for the pigskin suede outer layers. Dark grey accents bridge these two sections, while a hint of green comes in the form of the Abzorb cushioning.

NEW BALANCE 991V2 “TOADSTOOL” RELEASE INFORMATION

New Balance’s latest colorway for their Made in UK 991v2 does not have an official release date yet, but is coming soon in Spring 2026. Dressed for warmer weather and brighter colors, this pair mixes shades of purple across its mesh and pigskin suede layers for the “Toadstool” palette, paired with grey accents and green Abzorb cushioning. Pairs will be available from both NB And select retailers for the usual $250.
