Stone Island and New Balance have announced their first collaboration of 2026. The new release cals back to their “Ghost” 574 from Fall ’25, featuring seamless uppers and premium materials. The new 2.0 editions look the same, but in refined triple black and triple grey colorways.

Stone Island and New Balance officially announced their partnership in March 2021, and it’s been one of the more exciting long-term collaborations in the sneaker world ever since. The two brands bonded over a shared love of craftsmanship, technical materials, and deep roots in British subculture — from football terraces to city streets. Their releases have spanned several silhouettes, starting with the RC Elite, then moving into the football-focused Furon v7, the lifestyle-driven 574, and the highly praised Made in UK 991v2. The two had their biggest year to date in 2025, with three releases, the 998, Numeric 272, and the “Ghost” 574.

This week, SI and NB announced their first release of 2026, a 2.0 edition of their Ghost 574 from Fall 2025. The retro runner is back in its classic form, once again sporting premium materials cast in tonal colorways. The three pairs from last year’s release featured a rougher texture to the materials, but the two new styles for 2026 seem smoother. The 2.0 versions still feature the seamless upper construction that gives the shoes the “Ghost” name, and will be available in either all black or light grey executions, with each sporting an extra shaggy suede for the heel tabs and N branding.

The next collaboration from Stone Island and New Balance has been scheduled to release next month, on March 11th, 2026. Pairs of their new Ghost 2.0 574 styles will be available from both partners as well as select retailers in the clean triple black or triple grey executions. Just like their previous releases, the craftsmanship and materials used call for a higher price tag; $220 in this case.
