Stone Island and New Balance have unveiled their latest footwear project, once again turning to the Tokyo Design Studio for an impressive take on the new FuelCell C_1 running shoe.
New Balance first released their debut collaboration with Stone Island in 2021, blending the worlds of the advanced apparel maker’s unique look with NB’s decades of experience in footwear. Their projects thus far have mainly focused on high-performance running models, (with the exception of the 574) giving them unique makeovers. This week, the two announced their latest project, which sees them crafting two colorways of the new FuelCell C_1 silhouette with help from the Tokyo Design Studio. Arriving in two colorways, tan and brown, the model packs a technological punch with NB’s FuelCell cushioning underfoot in its double-stacked midsole.
STONE ISLAND X NEW BALANCE FUELCELL C_1 RELEASE INFORMATION
The latest project from famed apparel brand Stone Island and New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio has been scheduled to release next week, on July 25th, 2023. Featuring two colorways of the new FuelCell C_1, the advanced running shoe will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers for a hefty $250.
