Sneaker Politics’ Saucony Omni 9 “Sportsman’s Paradise” Releases Next Week

Sneaker Politics is off to a hot start in 2026 with a new collaboration. Teased this morning, the Louisiana boutique is teaming up with Saucony for the “Sportsman’s Paradise” edition of the ProGrid Omni 9, coming this month.

Saucony’s collaborative arm has been on fire for several years now. The Massachusetts brand has slowly built up a stable of excellent partners, giving each of them a chance to cook up unique stories and color themes for their arsenal of running sneakers. Many of these project have focused on two silhouettes, the Triumph 4 and the Omni 9, both older running models now repurposed for everyday wear thanks to the trend of techy running shoes. Their mesh and synthetic heavily layered styles provide excellent canvasses for new ideas, and this week, Sneaker Politics is teasing their take on the Omni 9.

This morning, the Politics Instagram shared a first look at their upcoming release with Saucony, the ProGrid Omni 9. Very little information was given aside from a release date and the projects name; ‘Sportman’s Paradise’. The retailer has yet to share details as to what the name means, but a pair has leaked online, giving us a full look at the colorful sneaker. The pair features an electric blue mesh base layer, adding suede overlays in various shades of brown. The midfoot plastic cage system comes in an ocean blue shade, while a lime green synthetic panel adds support around the collars. Finally, a red and pink tongue badge completes the look.

The new project from Louisiana’s Sneaker Politics and Saucony is scheduled to release next week, on January 17th, 2026. The boutique retailer shared a single teaser image of the new release along with the name, but gave no other information about the ProGrid Omni 9 sneaker. Pairs will likely be available exclusively through Politics first, with Saucony having their own wide release at a later date.
