Saucony Previews Westside Gunn’s Grid Jazz 9 “Awesome Gods” in Paris

Saucony is showing out in Paris right now for Fashion Week, unveiling a ton of upcoming special projects and collaborations. Among their display is a pair of Westside Gunn’s “Awesome Gods” Grid Jazz 9, coming soon.

Saucony has been on a hot streak of collaborative releases over the last year. From their team-ups with regional retailers like Starcow to performance brands like Minted, and musicians like Jae Tips and now, Westside Gunn. The New York rapper announced his partnership with the brand late in 2024, with their first release arriving in December 2025. Gunn has teased a number of releases so far in 2026, though we have yet to get a concrete release date for any of these new pairs. Luckily, Saucony is currently in Paris for Fashion Week, and brought along his “Awesome Gods” Grid Jazz 9 for the occasion.

This wild new take on the Jazz 9 runner was initially shown by Westside Gunn himself earlier this month. Photos of that first tease were limited, showing Gunn wearing them on a pier without any close-up shots. Thankfully Saucony brought the look to Paris this mont, giving us a much better look at the new style. This pair features a number of faux animal fur patterns, including cow, leopard, deer and zebra. The shoe’s underlay panel comes in pony hair, and features a tie-dye-like pattern of color splotches in hot pink, blue, and yellow.

WESTSIDE GUNN X SAUCONY GRID JAZZ 9 “AWESOME GODS” RELEASE INFORMATION

Westside Gunn’s next installment in his relationship with Saucony has not been announced for release yet, but is coming sometime later in 2026. This project features the Grid Jazz 9 as the base silhouette, covering the shoe in faux animal fur and splotchy tie-dye for the “Awesome Gods” look. Pairs will likely be available from both Saucony and select retailers. Pricing for the model is currently unknown.
