Fashion designer Riccardo Tisci and Nike have not teamed up for a sneaker release in nearly eight years. The hiatus ends this year, with a wild new take on the Shox TL SP, landing soon in three colorways.

Riccardo Tisci and Nike first launched their partnership in 2014 with an Air Force 1 collection featuring four styles, including a jacquard woven ankle strap mid and a dramatic knee-high boot. The collection was a landmark moment for luxury and sportswear crossovers, predating a wave of similar collabs that would define the industry years later. From there, the partnership expanded into reinterpretations of other Nike shoes, mashing up high fashion and sneaker culture before wrapping up in 2018. Now, after over seven years without a release, Tisci and Nike have reunited for a new project.

The first project from Tisci and Nike in nearly eight years is, of course, an unusual one. These collaborations have an interesting way of combining sneakers with weird conceptual fashion, and Tisci has delivered once more for the new Shox TL SP pack. Featuring three pairs of the retro runner, each one comes with a removable strap that attached to the heel of the shoe, and wraps around your lower calf with its own lacing system. Colorways come in a variety of options, including a clean triple white, a darker black and grey, a finally a bold red with black and white accents.

The first project from Riccardo Tisci and Nike in seven years has not been announced for release yet, but is coming soon in Summer 2026. The two have reunited for a wild take on the Shox TL runner, adding a removable ankle strap to three colorways of the retro model. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $180.
