Several silhouettes from the Nike archive have made a notable resurgence for 2023. One that continues to stand out is John McEnroe's Mac Attack (which has since been renamed to simply the "Attack"). The hype train left the station at the beginning of the year with three collaborative pairs from Social Status surfacing. From there, promotional material with McEnroe and Travis Scott -- who also has a pair on the way -- ensured that sneakerheads around the world were paying attention.At the same time, various in-line colorways have been produced to match the shoe's retro appeal with Nike's modern design language. The latest look to surface pairs "Oil Green" with "Ironstone" and "Sail" detailing. Its mixed material build utilizes a mesh base with various suedes at the overlays, including a hairy finish at the "Ironstone"-colored heel and Swooshes. The colorway's two primary colors trade places across the checkered tongue tag while "Sail" Nike branding appears at the heel.
