Regardless of where you fall on whether it’s acceptable to pull out the Carhartt if you’re not in the trades, workwear remains one of the strongest drivers in street-wise fashion. The Air Jordan 1 “Workwear,” now revealed with official images, issues the Jumpman’s most full-throated embrace of that to date, looming for a drop just around the corner.
Though the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has now become just one of many in the catalog rather than the halcyon hype model, the shoe at hand is proof that the right concept can still land a knockout punch. Further, Mike’s first remains one of the more timeless and easily stylable, no doubt part of the calculation in issuing this women’s pair. The central design cue here remains a removable embroidered “Air Jordan Shop” patch, lending its beige and green palette to the rest of the shoe. Rugged burlap materiality contrasts with flat nubuck overlay panels, coming to a head with patched earthy sections at the collar. Gilded Wings logos and eyelets round out this pair.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Workwear” releases on May 23rd in women’s sizing, retailing for $185. Preschool and toddler pairs will also be coming alongside. Catch official images below and watch our Jordan Releases 2026 page for a detailed release guide just before the launch.
