Originally released back in 2004 as a Japan exclusive, the Nike Air Max 1 “Urawa” will be returning in an updated fashion for Fall 2023.

As stated above, the Urawa offering of the AM1 was released back in 2004 but released exclusively in Japan. The makeover was inspired by the Urawa Dragons (aka Urawa Red Diamonds), the J League Football Club. This time, the sneaker will pay homage to the same team but in an updated fashion as a nod to the team’s kits for a brand new 2023 feel. Sporting an official colorway of Pure Platinum, White, Black, Sport Red, and Summit White, the sneaker opts for a mesh and leather design that sports black mesh accented by grey and white leather overlays. Red and gold accents are placed throughout while Urawa Dragons logo is embroidered on the heels. A white rubber midsole and white outsole complete the new design.

NIKE AIR MAX 1 URAWA RELEASE INFORMATION

The Nike Air Max 1 will be dropping later this year on September 1st, 2023 via select Nike Air Max retailers and Nike.com. The retail price will be set at $160.
