Nike Air Force 1 Sunflower

Last year, Nike kicked off a new series of releases for the Air Force 1, covering the model’s upper in a removable shroud modeled after seasonal leaves. The Summer 2026 edition has surfaced today, covering the shoe in a sunflower print.

The Air Force 1 has released in hundreds, if not thousands of different styles over the years. Nike has covered the entire spectrum of colors, libraries of materials, and different constructions in the forty-four years the AF1 has been around, and yet they still manage to surprise us with a new twist every once in a while. The latest unique take arrived last Summer, decking out the low-top silhouette in removable shrouds made to look like a seasonal leaf of choice. Initially offered in a “Leaf Camo” execution that looked like Fall leaves, they followed up this February with a “Cherry Blossom” edition for Spring. Today we got an early look at the next edition in the seasonal series, landing in time for Summer 2026. This pair dons a “Sunflower” covering, made up of blooms from the golden flower with cutouts to give it a ruffled appearance. Underneath, the AF1 rocks a canvas upper in Sesame brown, paired with Hemp leather accents, white Swooshes, and a gum sole.

Nike’s next seasonal release for their shrouded Air Force 1 does not have a set drop date yet, but is expected to land sometime this Summer. The third entry in this series pairing the AF1 with a seasonal flower or plant brings a sunflower shroud to the low-top sneaker. Hidden underneath is a “Sesame” canvas upper paired with white Swooshes and a gum sole. Pairs will be avialable form both Nike and select retailers for $125.
