Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker line with Nike is on its 18th model currently, but has begun to retro some of the classics. This year, we are scheduled to see a ton of iconic pairs of the KD 6, including the tactical “Night Vision” pair.

Nike released their first signature sneaker for Kevin Durant way back in 2008. The two have continued with annual releases of a new model each year since, and are currently on the 18th iteration of the Slim Reaper’s performance sneakers. This makes Durant’s line the second longest-running franchise for Nike Basketball, second only to Lebron James’ impressive 23 mainline silhouettes. This year, Nike is focusing on more retros of the KD line, after slowly rolling out some styles of the KD4 in 2025, they appear to be moving on to the KD6 for 2026. Yesterday we had news of the PB&J colorway making a comeback, and today the OG 2014 “Night Vision” pair joins the Summer calendar. Inspired by tactical low-light gear, the model comes in a black upper with Lucid Green accents, and TV-static-like patterns for the Swoosh and KD branding.

NIKE KD 6 “NIGHT VISION” RETRO RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike has not formally announced their upcoming retro releases of the KD 6, but we already have dates for some special colorways. The black & ghostly green “Night Vision” pair is currently expected to arrive on June 19th, 2026. The tactical color scheme with its static-patterned branding will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $135.
