Nike’s Clogposite retro has been a great addition to their catalog over the last year, giving plenty of iconic style with simple wearability. This week, the model has surfaced in a new “Metallic Dark Grey” edition, coming soon.
The Nike Clogposite came about in the early 2000s, several years after the 1999 debut of the high-top Flightposite basketball shoe. The clog version was the first non-performance model in Nike’s molded foam sneaker lineup, which was developed in the ’90s by Eric Avar, the same designer behind the Kobe line. The Foam franchise was built to adapt, using a foam that would mold itself to the feet of the wearer over time for a snug and comfortable fit. Clogposites were quite unique at the time, a simple, heel-less slip-on shoe featuring the same adapting properties as the court-ready counterparts. This week, we have an early look at another new color for the retro, applying a dark metallic grey sheen to the shoe’s upper. This is paired with a black to grey gradient for the neoprene tongue component, while black fills out the rest of the color palette.
NIKE CLOGPOSITE “METALLIC DARK GREY” RELEASE INFORMATION
Nike’s latest colorway for their Clogposite retro has not been announced officially yet, but is expected to land sometime in Summer 2026. The new style gives the molded slip-on a “Metallic Dark Grey” shade with a gradient tongue cover, paired with black accents. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $140.
