Nike has been designing the MLB’s City Connect jerseys for several years now, and this Spring they are putting together a matching collection of sneakers. Today, the Baltimore Orioles pair of the Air Max 1 has surfaced, and is expected to release next week.

Nike’s City Connect series for the NBA and MLB have brought us some fantastic new jerseys for our favorite teams in the last few years. The project aims to deliver specialty apparel for teams and fans that either call back to older, iconic designs, or take new inspiration from local landmarks, culture, and more. This year, the Swoosh and MLB are taking theirs a step further with a series of Air Max 1 sneaker releases to match the team kits, giving fans another way to represent their favorite teams. Nike is handling this release in waves, with pairs from the Pirates, Brewers, Padres, Reds, and Braves already available. This week, the Baltimore Orioles’ style has surfaced, and is expected to release early in June. The O’s style is inspired by their stadium, Camden Yards, using the architecture of the ballpark to inform the white and cream build of the sneaker. The heels feature a brick-textured leather to represent the B&O Warehouse sitting in view of the stadium, with accents in dark forest green to complete the look.

MLB X NIKE AIR MAX 1 “ORIOLES” RELEASE INFORMATION

The next installment in the ongoing project from the MLB and Nike is expected to release on June 8th, 2026, though this date has not been officially confirmed yet. The Baltimore Orioles are next at bat for the City Connect series, with a look inspired by their ballpark at Camden Yards in white, green, and orange. Pairs will be available through Nike and select retailers, likely highlighting a local Baltimore sneaker store for the drop. As usual, pairs will be $150.
