On podcast appearances and on social media, fans and pros alike have been telling Paul George how much they loved his signature shoes, something that made it all the more bittersweet when new numbered editions stopped coming out of Beaverton. The man himself has spoken about his intentions to pursue a Retro series for his line at some point, but with few updates on that front in the years since, it was trending toward wishlist item instead of an earnest possibility.
That is, until now. Since the midpoint of 2025, we’ve known that the Nike PG 1 was on the way back, but before any hoopers partial to his performance work hang the banner, there remains one major caveat. Its retro effort appears, at least at the moment, to be an Asia exclusive, but those in said markets will be treated to a range of original colorways. The latest off the board is the “Ivory Snakeskin,” executed with crackly side panelling and a flooded off-white palette. Shaggy suede Swooshes and a gum sole help deliver a lifestyle-forward final flourish.
Again, the Nike PG 1 “Ivory Snakeskin” will be exclusive to Asia, retailing for an equivalent of $110. Catch official images below; this retro will stick one-to-one to the OG 2017 arrangement.
