Nike Basketball is taking the Ja 4 in a different direction with its first high-top version. The standard Ja 4 launched as a low-top in 2026, but the High adds more ankle coverage and a new zippered shroud over the laces. This marks the first high-top model in Morant’s signature line. The first pair to debut is covered in Red and known as “University Red.”
Going over this Nike Ja 4, it features University Red covering most of the upper, with Bright Crimson adding another shade of Red throughout the design. Medium Olive appears on the Swoosh, Ja-frame, and select branding, while additional colors provide contrast across the upper and outsole. The zipper shroud gives the shoe a different appearance from the low-top Ja 4 and also carries “CALL TWELVE” branding.
