Nike GT Future “3M Splatter” Coming in 2026

Late in 2025, news of a “Galaxy” edition Nike GT Future crossed our timelines. Now, just days in 2026, we have our first look at the new colorway, which gives its own spin on the iconic Galaxy Foams with a 3M paint splattered upper.

During the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend, Nike Basketball unveiled their latest new silhouette, the GT Future. Partly inspired by the innovation of the 1997 Foamposite, the shoe features a single-piece molded upper for a sleek new look. That same weekend, Nike was celebrating the legacy of the Foamposite, rereleasing one of the shoe’s most iconic colorways; the “Galaxy” Foams. Months later, towards the end of ’25, rumors surfaced of the GT Future getting its own take on the Galaxy look, and this week, we finally know what it will look like.

For the last week or so, these photos of a new GT Future colorway have been floating around the web, but had not yet been confirmed to be the new “Galaxy” edition we’d heard about before. Now, we have SKUs for the shoe, and it is in fact a fresh take on the beloved outer space-themed sneaker. The GT Future’s version of the Galaxy theme does not just apply a space graphic to the upper, but instead gives us similar colors as the OG, and uses a paint splatter across the lower half of the shoe to mimic a sky full of stars. The shoe itself comes in a Grand Purple shade, paired with some bold pink accents to round out the palette. To complete the look, the entire molded portion of the upper is light reflective.

NIKE GT FUTURE “3M SPLATTER” RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike’s latest colorway of the new GT Future basketball shoe has not been announced yet, but is coming later in 2026. The new edition of the high-top model features a bold purple and pink color scheme, paired with a white paint splatter accent and a fully reflective 3M upper. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $200.
