A trending texture meets a trending silhouette with Nike’s latest pack release. The tabi-toed Nike Air Rift, already in the midst of a renaissance thanks to the repopularization of Margiela tabis, is here the subject of a multi-style “Pony Hair Pack” for Fall 2026, combining a sought-after silhouette with a material that’s taken the entire footwear landscape by storm in recent seasons.

It’s not exactly clear where the pony hair trend started, but it’s taken kindly to loafers, boots, and practically every major sneaker brand’s most popular model, offering luxe upgrades without necessarily demanding huge extra production costs. While cow and cheetah prints have been the trending go-tos across the space (see the uber-viral “Cheetah” Sambas from last year), Nike’s Air Rift lineup opts for solid colors, including black, Dark Driftwood, and Old Royal options.
