Nike Basketball is slowly unveiling their plans for the 2026 All-Star Game, happening in Los Angeles in just a few weeks. Today, they’ve unveiled the new “Warning Label” pack, a radioactive set of colors for four of their player signature models.
Nike’s All-Star Game sneaker history dates back decades, beginning as players and Nike designers used the spotlight of the NBA’s mid-season showcase to debut standout footwear. In the 1990s, Nike athletes like Scottie Pippen helped spark cultural moments by wearing bold Nike colorways on court, influencing future special editions. As All-Star Weekend became a major marketing platform, Nike released official All-Star editions tied to the event, including commemorative colorways and limited drops across signature lines like LeBron and Kobe, and any other athletes who would appear at the weekend’s festivities.
This week, the Nike Basketball team has unveiled a special project for this year’s mid-season break, dubbed the “Warning Label” pack. The collection spans four player signature models, each cast in a tonal color scheme with metallic finishes, making each shoe appear as if they were dipped in radioactive waste. The four models are the Book 2, KD 18, Giannis 7, and Sabrina 3. Each pair features a special lace charm unique to the player; Scorpions for Devin Booker to represent the Arizona desert, Wings for Giannis, a grim reaper for KD< and the Statue of Liberty’s torch for Sabrina. Additionally, each pair comes with special packaging, furthering the radioactive theme. All four styles will come with a briefcase to carry them, featuring molded cutout sections to transport the shoes and their special charms.
