The Nike ACG team is coming back with another banger revamp next Summer. This morning, the Swoosh announced a new pair of the Zegama trail runner, heavily modified for the needs of all conditions athletes, coming in 2026.

Nike’s running department split into two branches a few years ago, reintroducing the Nike Trail line. These shoes are built for rugged conditions, but not quite the soaring expectations of the ACG team. The ACG department also began to diverge from their retro aesthetic a few years ago, leaning more and more into modern performance gear. Nike Trail and ACG have collaborated on several projects this decade, often with the latter taking an already-existing Trail shoe and giving it a more durable, rugged overhaul for intense trail conditions. This week, Nike announced the latest venture from ACG, a refined version of the Zegama runner, first introduced to the Trail line in 2022. The ACG version makes some significant changes to the original, adding ZoomX and Cushlon 3.0 cushioning to the soles, as well as adding Vibram’s Megagrip outsole for ultimate traction in all conditions.

NIKE ACG ZEGAMA RELEASE INFORMATION

Nike unveiled the ACG team’s take on the Zegama this morning, announcing a release window of Summer 2026, though no specific date is available yet. Building off the model originally introduced by Nike Trail, the shoe features major improvements to the sole and upper. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retail partners, and pricing is expected to be upwards of $200.
