Nike ISPA’s Link Axis Finally Debuts Next Week

Last year, Nike’s ISPA division unveiled their Link silhouette, a modular sneaker with swappable uppers and midsoles. Now, the Link Axis is finally ready to make its debut, launching in Tokyo this week.

Nike’s ISPA (Improvise, scavenge, protect, adapt) division has been leading the brand’s technological advancements for the past few years. Last Summer, the team unveiled their new Link silhouettes, a modular system that allows us to swap components of shoes to create new colorways or simply refresh an older pair. Split into flexible knit uppers and bulbous sole units, the Link Axis never saw a release after its initial announcement in the Summer. Finally, just over a year later, they are gearing up for their first release. Scheduled to launch from atmos in Tokyo this week, the slimmer FlyKnit version has surfaced in a white, yellow, and orange color scheme.

Nike ISPA’s long-awaited release of the Link Axis is finally here, scheduled to debut via atmos Tokyo on August 11th, 2023. While we here in the states will likely have to sit tight a bit longer, pairs will be available for an expected $200 price tag.
