Devin Booker Finally Unveils the Nike Book 2’s “Spiridon” Style

After months of speculation and blurred teasers from Devin Booker, the Nike Book 2 has finally been unveiled. During the announcement, Nike shared that two versions would be coming, including a mesh style in a “Spiridon” theme.

Devin Booker’s first signature shoe with Nike launched way back in 2023. While player signatures normally last one season, the Book 1 stuck around for both the ’24 and ’25 NBA seasons. This Summer, Booker finally started to unveil the follow-up model, posting photos of his workouts with his feet blurred out. Then, last month, he appeared in Portland to help Nike unveil their next chapter. The Book 2 was unveiled in two colorways, both of which features a synthetic, slick upper. However, Nike shared that another mesh version was in the works, citing the Air Zoom Spiridon as inspiration behind the model. Now, Devin has stepped on the court wearing this alternate version of the shoe, dressed to impress in the Spiridon’s original “Sport Red” colorway. The look pays a perfect homage to the ’90s running model, capturing the shoe’s silver mesh and black synthetic panels, and even the lacing system hidden behind. Swooshes feature a metallic sheen in red, and a plain white midsole underneath.
