The Asics GT-2160 is back for new series of releases this year, with collaborations and in-line colorways already available. This week, we got an early look at a new ‘Dark Taupe’ color scheme, coming soon.
Asics is bringing a range of new colorways for their 2011 GT-2160 this year, repurposing yet another older running silhouette for their SportStyle category. Last week, we got an early look at a bright ‘Brick Dust‘ pair coming this Fall, and today, we have our first glimpse of a neutral ‘Dark Taupe’ color scheme coming this season. The new look begins with a dark brown mesh base layer, adding varying shades of brown across its leather and synthetic overlays. The Asics logos are outlined in a silver-grey tone, while hints of purple are placed strategically throughout the shoe.
ASICS GT-2160 ‘DARK TAUPE’ RELEASE INFORMATION
Asics’ next colorway of the retro GT-2160 have not been announced for release, though we expect to see new pairs roll out sometime in the early Fall 2023 season. Seen here in an neutral ‘Dark Taupe’ style, pairs will be available from the brand’s website and select retailers, with a price tag of $120.
