The Nike ACG team released their first retro of the Izy sneaker

Nike’s ACG archives are the stuff of GORPcore legends, plastered across moodboards and thrifted pairs popping up with hefty resale price tags over twenty years after their original release. The ACG team has leaned into this heavily over the last few years; since Errolson Hugh’s departure as creative director in 2018, roughly half of their releases have featured retro product. That seems to be changing this year with their recent relaunch and refocus on performance, but there is still room in the catalog for retro icons like the Izy.

The Izy first returned to the ACG lineup back in late 2024, and has quietly been releasing in new colors for over a year now. However, some recent styles have spiked interest in the hybrid model, which mixed a moccasin-style upper with a hefty, trail-ready sole unit. This week, another striking colorway of the silhouette has emerged, dressed in a soft “Arctic Orange” shade for Spring. The look builds the upper entirely out of this pastel shade in suede, contrasted by a very light blue inner lining, and a very dark blue midsole.

Nike ACG’s next release of their retro Izy sneaker is currently slated to arrive later in Spring, on April 5th, 2026. The outdoor-ready moccasin silhouette comes in a smooth “Arctic Orange” suede for this drop, paired with a Diffused Blue accent along the midsoles. Pairs will be available from both Nike and select retailers for $135.
