Los Angeles’ All-Star festivities were easily the most expensive and expansive we’ve seen from the NBA’s mid-season break in years, no doubt putting a hurting on the pockets of native Angelenos and visitors for the weekend.
With so much of what was on tap being exclusive or early drops, this is when the benefits of not attending may come into view; much of what’s on tap this week either rewards those with bread still to go around or brings those early LA pairs wide. In that regard, the wide release of the Levi’s Air Jordan 3 takes the cake, but the Zoom Huarache 2k4 All-Star also becomes widely available. Outside of those second chances, the four-pronged Nike Air Max 95, NB launch for Salehe Bembury’s latest, the Air Jordan 6 “Blackout” and more from Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS is drawing our attention.
Catch day-by-day photo breakdowns below of what this week has in store. Each day’s gallery contains blurbs below with hyperlinks for each drop — follow those to lead back to our original coverage with “Where To Buy” purchase links for each respective release. As we always do, we’ll update the list below with any late-breaking additions, but keep an eye on our Jordan Release Dates and Sneaker Release Dates pages to make doubly sure that nothing falls through the cracks.
February 16th starts with hoops, as the Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 “Year of the Horse” continues the young silhouette’s journey in commemorative style. Whether it’s a “meme shoe” is up to you, but the newly-found partners construct the Lego Crocs Brick Clog. On a more general release note, two big box store’s SMUs go head-to-head: the New Balance 2000 Foot Locker capsule and the New Balance 2000 Finish Line equivalent.
February 17th marches on with the CNY celebrations, as the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Chinese New Year” issues a weighty embroidered embrace. The Nike P-Rod 1 “All-Star” then follows, pulling from the legendary Kobe Bryant’s archives for a skate tribute. Speaking of, the Mamba-worn Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4 “All-Star” goes wide for those who sat out LA.
February 18th is centered on one lifestyle trio, as the Nike Astro Grabber Canvas looks to calmer climates.
February 19th begins a jam-packed stretch with the Air Max 95 “City Pack” and Air Jordan 6 Low “Blackout.” Then it’s to the Salehe Bembury New Balance 992 with a wide release, before the NOCTA Air Force 1 Low goes “Triple White.” The Boston brand ties together two versions of the MiUK silhouette in the New Balance 991v2 “Smoked Pearl” and New Balance 991v2 “Porcelain,” while the Japanese giant issues the Kiko Kostadinov ASICS GEL-Kinetic Fluent US7-S.
February 20th is headlined by the Levi’s Air Jordan 3 in the “Year of the Horse” colorway (note that as of this writing, only global SNKRS channels have listed on their app). The Foamposite allegations continue to follow the Nike GT Future “Metallic Red Bronze,” the Nike Boot moment rolls on with the reimagined Air Max Goadome Low “Black” and Air Max Goadome Low “Taupe,” and the Vans OAMC collection turns the Authentic and Half Cab into utility-focused boots and oxfords. For those whose teams suited up on Super Bowl Sunday, the Seahawks Crocs + Patriots Crocs have you covered. We close on hoops as the women-led Jordan Heir Series 2 stamps a second family member.
February 21st, despite its billing, is light overall, confirmed for the global launch of the Levi’s Air Jordan 3 before the Air Jordan 4 “Valentine’s Day” (GS) adds some kids’ heat.
