Hiroshi Fujiwara has been able to thread an impossible needle. Typically, the more you collaborate, the less mystique surrounds each subsequent one, but it speaks to the strength of the Fragment Design brand as a whole that each remains appointment viewing and, with almost no exceptions, a sell-out event.

Joining hands with some equally starry heavyweights has been a solid way to keep that streak going, with the Travis Scott x Fragment Design x Air Jordan 1 enterprise stamping its multiplicative synergy anew at the end of 2025. In the time since, the legend has only grown, with Hiroshi playing into still-sky-high expectations by recently teasing a new version, coated in deep navy suede and leather and, of course, featuring the indomitable Reverse Swoosh.

After a range of sample versions hit the net in June, another one now comes to light, playing off the OG “Royal” for much of its real estate before breaking into pure white interplay on the branding and heel cup. We will note that Fujiwara himself stamped a very similar arrangement in his “Fragment #3” magazine, though the one depicted in the spread wore suede and carried a blue heel cup. Next to it, another adjacent colorway, this time blacking out the uppers almost comprehensively, could present this as a “halfway” point between the two.

This specific pair also carries a “FA27” stamp on the midsole, indicating that the next chapter in the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 story could be in the works for late next year.
