This month saw runners from around the world take to the German capital’s streets for the marathon weekend in Berlin.To commemorate the event, Zalando and Nike teamed up to introduce “Stride Haus,” a series of activations right in the city.Located at Kurfürstendamm 210, and designed for runners who embrace style and performance, “Stride Haus” became the fashion-forward space that transformed the traditional marathon experience into a space for creativity — allowing runners to build their own unique run-ready looks.In an unmatched pre-run experience, the partnership featured a range of immersive workshops that kept guests engaged. The installation itself was split into three distinct zones, each offering a selection of activities. The first, Your Choice Lounge, saw visitors receive expert advice from staff to understand which of the three Nike shoes boasts the perfect fit for their running style. Whether the Vomero Plus featuring maximum cushioning for comfort, Pegasus Premium’s angled lines and responsive cushioning for an energized run, or Structure 26’s supportive cushioning for optimal stability -- all are designed to connect athletes with the brand’s best running footwear innovation and help them gear up for whatever run they want to take that day, from a neighborhood jog to the peak of a marathon training plan.Elsewhere, Style Atelier brought Berlin-based designers Jun Mayers and Noemi Braun to host an exclusive bespoke workshop. Here, runners personalized their performance-wear looks with pieces crafted using the duo’s signature draping and playful fabric creations, inspired by the city's unique interpretation of running.Providing the final touches before they hit the start line, The Beauty Workroom offered professional hairstyling and nail art as well as SPF application.
