The Hartcopy x adidas BW Army is back for another round this Summer. If you missed out on the OG Crystal White release, the colorway is coming back in August alongside a new Halo Gold style, both in a deconstructed version of the silhouette.

Hartcopy & adidas have carved out a nice lane for themselves with the BW Army. The Instagram-based media brand combines a love of older print aesthetics with digital archiving, keeping a running account of great sneakers, past and present. When they debuted their partnership with adidas in 2024, the BW Army was a no-brainer for their first collaboration. Designed for the West German army in the 1970s, the sneaker has become a cult classic, replicated by brands like Margiela, though adidas’ take is still the OG. Beloved by moodboards and sneakerheads for its simple, casual design, the silhouette can be dressed up or down with material choices, and Hartcopy’s take has leaned into shockingly nice leather for each release. This week, their next batch of colors has surfaced, presenting the model in a new deconstructed take. This version removes any excess material or padding for a slimmer fit, especially around the heels allowing you to crush them down, turning the sneaker into a mule. Two colors are set for an August release, the OG Crystal White style, and a muted Halo Gold pair. Both feature Hartcopy’s signature red stitch along the eyestay.

HARTCOPY X ADIDAS BW ARMY DECON PACK RELEASE INFORMATION

The next batch of BW Army colorways from Hartcopy and adidas have not been officially announced yet, but are rumored to release next month on August 28th, 2026. This round presents a deconstructed take on the vintage trainer, meaning less padding around the heels and a thinner upper, dressed in Crystal White or Halo Gold for this Summer drop. Pairs will be available from both partners and select retailers, likely with the usual $130 price tag.
